Just finished painting this set of casualty figures, the metal ones that Conte produced in their playsets. I have grouped them together with my other recently painted figures to produce an image of how the 23rd Ohio may have looked at Antietam on the afternoon of Sep 17th 1862.

Excellent work!Antietam was a very bloody day and your painting skills certainly have shown this.Well done that man.

Very well done, especially the skin colours and the tricky black-blue of the jackets are fantastic, and the pictures you took are once again excellent.
Kind Regards
Wolfgang

Do more ! Superb !

Just caught up with your post and what a great paint job you carried out on these old Conte figures-I have a real soft spot for these particular Yanks as they were the very ones that got me into collecting ACW figures. Good work

Bob

Mike, great job on the painting of these Conte figures. Conte was the maker that was responsible for me getting into the hobby many years ago. Again great job with the Buckeyes of the 23rd. Chris
