Guys

I am tempted to buy a set of the ACW Confederate Cavalry (6 mounted figures, CW 40-47, and try to find the 2 retired CW 43,44).

Before 2003 I only have the Parade figures (Royal Hong Kong Regiment (glossy), Blackwatch and Royal Marines) which discontinued.

Starting from 2003 I have limited myself to collect ONLY Berlin 1938, Napoleonics and Imperial China... then in 2007 the Desert Tiger caught my attention and then I collected all DAK and EA... then the Aussies Lighthorsemen... then RAF and Luftwaffe... then K&C UK Crimea war and then WWI Germans and the Albatros plane...

Any reason why I should not buy the ACW Cavalry? (other than my wallet is gonna be empty and running out of display space)

Don't worry you will be Happy. And the set you didn't get, Im sure if you post in the Wants
section you will eventially score. :salute::

The nice thing about this set is the non-regulatory items/uniforms, so each member of the cavalry is slightly different.

Also, I collect napoleonics... I have every Brit and French Cavalry set that K&C ever produced. All these sets were CHARGING (except for a few of the red lancers, in uninspiring idle poses).

However, this Confederates have realistic and creative non-fighting poses

They are not OVER-Exaggerated compared with Collector's showcase.

Great set

BTW, I have picked up the retired CW43 and 44 (last ones) from the shop on display.
