We are pleased to announce the start of the pre-order of the first two mounted personalities for the American Civil War figure range, specifically ACW039 General John Buford and ACW040 General John Reynolds. Both Buford and Reynolds played key roles on the Union side of the battle during the first day at Gettysburg. Buford's division, heavily outnumbered, would successfully delay the Rebs from 8am until very late morning when Reynolds' 1st Corps came up to stabilize the Union line. Reynolds was killed shortly after his corps was engaged, but both men have been deserve a great deal of credit for their role in the Union victory at Gettysburg. These figures are now available for pre-order and shipping in November.

ACW039 Union General John Buford - $139.95
ACW040 Union General John Reynolds - $139.95
Shipping November 2011

Buford Yes...Yes....Yes. What a part Sam Elliot played in Gettysburg.....Powerful

Yes, I use the high ground, clear eye lines at my house all the time, and my wife always gets the reference.

My wife thought Elliot sounded "Sacketty" ,,,,from his westerns.

Is there a source of Buford wearing that single breasted coat at Gettysburg? His photos show a double breasted general's coat but various non-regulation coats and jackets were available and seen in photos. Anyone know? ^&confuse

Anything to do with the movie?

I received my first ACW figures last week. Love what First Legion is doing. I am using these figure in a seventh cavalry last stand DIO. FYI, Flesh tone of figures is a little darker than in advertisements. Just, saw sneek preview of ACW038 Trooper holding horses in First Legion's on line email newsletter. WOW!!! I have waited a long time for someone to do a piece like this. How about varying the color of that horse flesh, so collectors can buy multiple versions of this piece? I know the figure will not be cheap, but for those of us who want this figure it would be awesome to be able to buy multiples with variations in the color of the horses. Give the factory in China a call, they can do at least 8 colors of horse flesh. Keep rolling First Legion. I too would be a buyer of Plains Indians..

Just received Buford. A beautiful well sculpted, well painted mounted figure and horse. Have gone ahead and ordered Reynolds.

As not many were made, those who are interested shouldn't wait terribly long. I believe George Guerriero of Minuteman (Warrior on this Forum) still has some left.
