Thanks, I have heard of Blueberry and others. Germany, the Czech Republic and others have "Western" tourist towns. Fun but not history. The good thing is that when my fellow Americans say Europeans hate us, OR that they hate Europeans, I point out that Europeans like our "culture."

I look at Collector's Showcase figures and marvel that they are so well done...except for a few left handed soldiers or a few Hollywood poses.

Firing flintlock rifles, muskets, or carbines left handed is dangerous to yourself and dangerous to the other men in ranks as is carrying a sword left handed or waving a carbine from the saddle.

These poses are better for the fun toy soldiers not models representing history.

Scott, I don't think Western Europeans hate Americans (I am American but was born and lived many years in France before moving to the States). Many Europeans are still very grateful for what we did during WWII.

I didn't think they did. It's more what some Americans think. I've talked to Rev-War reenactors who were able to go to Paris back in 1983 for the Treaty Of Paris Bicentennial. They were treated very well by the Parisians. My brother-in law served in Germany after the war and has great memories of the German people.

I send too much time on the internet looking at European reenactors but I see many reenactors portraying US WWII GIs, American, Civil War, Native Americans and even Cowboys. Some in Russia!

Mr. Brian, I hope to collect a good squad of Union cavalry, will be of great quality, I have no doubt
:eek::eek::eek:

Who'll be the first, to offer us ACW new Union cavalry squadron? K&C or Collector's Showcase?
