Great show, Howard and Jenny,

thanks for posting the images Robin, it's great to see what's on-show 'down under ...

we don't see that sort of display this side of the 'Rabbit Proof Fence' :) :)

John

'RPF' will fool our other members :)

Really like the new Skippy figure John. A great iconic piece for the series. Happy to add it to my ALH collection. Enjoy setting up the displays and talking to customers about these wonderful historic miniatures. Nice to hear from you way over in the West. Hope our mate Wayne is ok, not on the radar at the moment. Robin.

Hi,

Great pics from the show, is that Jakob´s WWI diorama showing?

It sure is, he does amazing work, my only regret is that I was not aware of him much earlier as I missed getting some wonderful dio's pictured on his site. Should not be greedy though, as I have made up for lost time in the last year. Robin.

A very successful show with lots sold, especially Australian Light Horse and the iconic Skippy set. Howard and Jenny head back to Melbourne to begin to ship orders. Robin.

I'm pretty sure I recognise the lady...But who are those two old geezers in the photos!?!

Congrats guys and well done on a great show!
All the best, Andy.

Always great seeing the ALH (and the odd NZMR) on display with Turks and K&C's fantastic village pieces Robin; also managed to spot young Skippy hiding in the mix near the seaside.^&grin

Quite like the desert mats Howard was using too, any idea who makes those mate?

Very useful terrain mats, also the same mat can have a lake or river on it. Stocked by TF shop under Build- A-Rama. I have all 3 mats and they work well in a lot of scenes. Robin.

Cheers mate, I have plans to build a large display base using my village buildings as the centre piece, but undecided if I should use a large grass mat or build one using sand etc like the Brissy boys did for one of the dinners. :salute::
