"Admiral" is a Russian movie [2008] that is superbly done. It's more blood
and guts than a love story. I suppose it would mean more to those
that have a knowledge of Russian history during 1916-1920 period.
Filmed as a grand scale epic that Russian Cinema does so well. I was
surprized that it was allowed to be released.

One of the better movies I've seen lately. Sub-titled in English.

Thanks for posting this. This show looks really interesting. Kolchak was a very interesting character and one of the main White leaders. Looks technically accurate from what shows in the trailer. Look forward to this release, as not much has ever been done on the subject in the way of movies. -- Al

I've seen segments of this movie at some of the shows--thank you, Belle & Blade! It's on my list of movies to buy. The combat scenes are really well done, really amazing in their realism.

He also has the Russian [in English] production of "Napoleon". Not the best,
but great charge of the Scots Greys. Also, I liked Christopher Plummer's
portrayl of Wellngton. How accurate I don't know, but a dry sense of humor.
