Rec'd the nat'l and state color bearers yesterday of the Massed Battle series, included here for your review. The sculpting and detail are the usual high quality of FL. The jackets and trousers do not have the shadowing and are a flatter and brighter finish than std FL figs. That said, I think they go well with existing FL figs. Chris

Chris, that set up looks sweet and I love the Maryland flag!!!! :) I'm putting a order in this week for the Mass Battle series after seeing your photos and Brads, thanks for posting...Sammy

Nicely done, Chris. A unit after my own heart.:wink2: I think I might get those flagbearers for my very modest ACW collection. -- Al

Great looking set up and well photographed, These really look pretty nice. I can see the difference but I'd be really pissed if I couldn't. This should bring a whole new group of First Legion collectors to the party and help guys fill the ranks out as well. I'd also think they will be giving a few other lower priced manufactures a real headache.

I'm happy they will be continuing with their higherend figures as well, its a real win win for everyone :salute:::salute::

I'd get Napoleonics or 7 Years War figures if they are forthcoming..... they'd ne my first from this maker, but would then supplement them with speciality figures from those eras !!!!

Great scene, the new figures from FL do blend in well. Scenes with border states {Maryland, Kentucky and Missouri} are not done very often and always good to see. Chris
