Advice on painting figure bases (1 Viewer)

I want to paint some of my JJD SYW Prussians (Leuthen) from a snow/white base to a dirt/mud base similar to their FIW figures.
Could you recommend a paint brand and color/s.

I use Acrylic paint for both figure and base. The brands are Crafsmart (Satin) or Americana (DecorArt). For the base I normally mix up different colors together to get the final one I am looking for (I use a wet palette to preserve the color to allow for multiple layers during the course of a project). I also use a primer (Mr Hobby - Mr Surfacer 1200) prior to paint any part. I also add some little rocks and greenery for realism (you can get those at a craft supply store or online). You can look at some of my painting projects in that very section.
