Hi there,

This is the first time I've posted in a forum so please bear with me!

I've two limited W. Britain Redcoat models to sell and I wondered if anyone could advise me as to how I go about this.

One is a W. Britain autumn 2006 event exclusive: Private from 50th Regiment of Foot 1868 (#43023) with a certificate number 174 out of 300.

The other is from the W.Britian Salute to the British Army Event held on December 2nd 2005. He is a Private of the British 1st Foot Guards 1805(#41190) with a certificate number of 48 out of 200.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

Regards.

Hi Clare,
dropped you a pm and a email.
Thanks
Tom

Hi Tim,

The price I would have wanted forthe two would be more around the £265 mark.
They are open for auction in February's Vectis event with that total reserve amount (commission excluded) but as you can imagine it's nicer to have a straight sale agreed!

I can settle with you at £215. The figures and certificates are in pristine condition as they've never even been out of the boxes, I'll be glad if they go to a nice home!

Kind regards,

Clare

Hi, Clare, and welcome to the forum!

At the risk of butting in where I'm not involved, I'd like to suggest, you might want to keep your negotiations in the form of private messages, rather than open in the threads, for discretion's sake. You might scare off potential buyers.

Of course, as I said, I may be speaking out of turn, and I apologize if so, it's only meant as friendly advice.

Prost!
Brad

Hi Brad,

Thank you so much for letting me know, I've never been on a forum before so I knew I'd end up making a goof up!

Take care hun,

Clare :)

No worries matey - if people didn't ever tell us where we've made mistakes we wouldn't be able to learn and get better at things would we?

Take care,

Clare
