If anyone is interested...I want to sell an AE-03...I have 2 of them...

I will not ship it...it's a very fragile piece and I won't risk damage by shipping it...

if anyone is interested...

I will bring it to the Lone Star Military Show in Dallas next week on March 29th-30th...

or if not sold there...I will bring it to the Texas Toy Soldier Show in San Antonio Show on May 25th...

if you want it and will be at either show...then contact me...

if you can arrange for someone to buy it at either show and ship it to you...then contact me...

I'm asking $375.00...and it's a firm price...I have never seen one offered on Ebay and honestly believe it's worth a whole lot more...

Hello Mike:

Ah, K&C's set# AE-03. Actually I think it was called the "Prince's Chariott". I sold the one I had in mid 2007 for $255.00 + S&H to a buyer in Belgium. Alas, the buyer claimed damage to the set. He did not push for USPS Insurance claim so I buttumed he was able to fix buttorted issues. Yes, while the set was really well packed inside it's set box it still got damaged in shipment perhaps with Custom's Inpectors being the cause in Belgium. Good luck with your sale!

Gary...

this set is the only K&C set I have ever seen that includes packing and unpacking instructions in the box...now I don't own any K&C vehicles...like tanks...airplanes or armored vehicles...but I do own several of their resin buildings and have never seen packing or unpacking instructions included...

do a lot of their pieces come with packing/unpacking instructions?

I purchased two of these and one came with the Chariot's wheels detached from the base...

I was devastated when I saw it...thinking it was mangled and unfixable...but it turned out to be just two simple dots of glue to fix it...

no damage to the wheels...but the Chariot, axle and wheel buttembly had become unglued from the base...fortunately...each wheel has a small nodule on the bottom that is seated into a small hole in the base...so they can be aligned and re-glued correctly and easily...

it was a simple fix...but scared me when I first saw it...

none the less...because of the rarity and fragility of the piece...I don't want to take a chance on shipping it and ruining it forever...it's just too much of a headache to irritate a buyer and too much of a headache to deal with an insurance claim...

if I end up keeping both of them...it's hardly the worst thing in the workd...they are absolutely gorgeous...

so...I will take them to the San Antonio show and hopefully find a buyer there that I can hand deliver it to...

Did your guy in Belgium ever say what was wrong with the set you mailed him?

I guess he fixed it himself as he didn't want to give it up...I bet it was the same thing as mine...the wheels came unglued from the base...

here is a picture of where mine came unglued...

Dear Mike:

Yes, I believe my K&C AE03 set that I sold in 2007 was the only K&C set that came with detailed instructions on how to unpack it! As I recall my eBay buyer in Belgium noted damage to "Pom Poms" on head of horse or hourses which was easy to reglue I buttume. Buyer also noted bent axle which I buttume was also easy to fix. I do not recall any other damage complaints. A personal hand off on this particular set is probably a great idea.

Good luck, Gary
