Chris - you can sign up on their email list. You don't get a lot of information but they do send out some updates. My experience over the past few years is that any new figures show up first on their ebay site. They post figures everyday but your best bet is 9PM on Thursday when they put up several. Anything new will usually sell within a few minutes. My hairline has receded a great deal in trying to get any information from them about new figures. I think dealing with the russian artists makes it impossible to have much idea what is coming in or when they will get it. That's just the nature of doing business in russia rather than with a "factory" in China. Thor is a great guy. You can email him and arrange to visit his annex in VA where he stores all the figures. Much better than the shows when he is dealing with a crowd of collectors.

I do know that one of the dealers there In GBurg deals directly with Grenada, I believe and he echoed the same sentiments about the erratic production/ distribution chain in Russia. He even mentioned that the distribution network is one of the factors that runs up the costs so much.

I used to live near the Great Falls area where the annex is located and visited several times. There is nothing like it in my toy soldier collecting experience. Plenty of time to talk with Thor and look over his entire stock. There can be a significant difference in quality/color scheme between individual figures - so it's great to have the opportunity see his entire stock of one particular figure and pick out the best. Unlike the shows you don't have to muscle your way around other collectors. I wouldn't take the children though - if they break anything your bank account is hurting.

God help me if they go up in cost anymore my wife will hang me, as it is now a FEW boxs remain in the storage room, she always seems to sniff out a new figure in my displaly cabinets eventhough she says she is not intrested in my collection. Ha right!

That is funny! You should here some the excuses I give my boss to get out of work so I can get home before she does to either get the boxes hidden or swipe the credit card bill. I drive her insane because she always catches me and my tap dancing never works! And I have to explain that this is an investment I can always resell them if I had to. Right, my soldiers being sold over my dead body! My pride my joy my escape ah she will never understand! HA Ha

Did you guys see the Landsknecht "beheading" set that AeroArt has in their EStore- it's pretty dramatic!!

I think we need to give St. Pete their own category now- we seem to keep coming to these guys and I think they deserve their own category- mods, whaddya say??
