I just got this new pilot in and set him up for a photo shoot with various 1/32 aircraft. He looks like he's smiling for the camera.
Now that is a selection of iconic aircraft!

Funny you say he's smiling b/c I have the same figure with my mustang and he's set up having his picture taken by the K&C combat photographer. They fit perfectly together!
Duke, The P-38 and P-51 are 2 of my favorites and look great with the kneeling , smiling figure. He must be happy he is already in a photo shoot ^&grin
great pictures Duke !!!

The aircraft are just great and so are Your photos and dio.{sm4}
The USAAF line is terrific from the variety of figures to the planes, seriously doesn't get enough mention on this forum. I'm expecting some more ground vehicles (beyond the jeep) to supplement the line at some future date. The airplanes in your photos are super. Just highlights how varied and colourful those warbirds can be. I recently got the Tuskeegee P-51 and it is easily one of my favourite pieces to date. Thanks for sharing I enjoyed the pics.![]()
a couple more...
Duke, Looking at this scene again the kneeling pilot works wonders to any U.S. aircraft display :salute::
Duke, your scenes never cease to make me smile mate. Only you could take one figure and one aircraft and produce such good dioramas, your photographic eye and feel for what makes a good scene is second to none. Great work mate.:salute::

Thanks Wayne. K&C has done a great job on all the USAAF pilots/figures that I have.
Rob, I really appreciate the kind words. Another part of this hobby that is fun to me besides the collecting aspect is trying to decide what pieces of my collection to put together and in what setting. Photography has become a hobby with me so thanks for the encouragement.![]()
Duke, brilliant. Did you make these planes too?
