Africa orientale italiana 1941.

The italian army was soon overwhelmed by the british powerful forces, just some forts resisted for a while, especially at " l' Amba Alagi "where the italian viceroy Amedeo D' Aosta resisted to the british attack for one month(april 17 to may 17 1941) with the few italian troops left: 7000 italian soldiers and 3000 native troops ( ascari).

He and the italian survivors received the "honors of war" by the british army when surrendered.
