Of course Harry- that is assuming the KC team doesn't decide to release a Bannockburn 1314 line in June of 2008- then you might as well trash that plan :D

That's EXACTLY what I meant Chris.
The short term plan will definitely work.
The medium term plan will probably work.
The long term plan is open to so much revision that its practically unworkable, but at least its there in place just waiting to be trashed given what might come our way in 2008. :):(:):)

The next thing I know it I'm in the backyard after school working my *** off everyday for several hours trying to earn to cash buy a figurine:mad:

-Abstaning from WW2

Hey- if there's an opening, I'll come work in your backyard for some extra Toy Soldier money!! :D

Abstaining from WW2 is like trying to pass on a date with Pamela Anderson- just isn't possible- we as men are genetically predisposed to be interested in both- flippin wonderfully beautiful and shallow women and war on an impossible scale- it just cannot be done.

Bannockburn 1314????
When???
Is It True???

Oh no OC!!! I don't want to fan the flames of rumor or speculation here- Harry and I are lobbying (Ron, we may need some pro bono assistance here :D) to get one of these guys to give us a Bannockburn line- we ocassionally drop little hints back and forth. But, no I have no ideas of anything KC is going to produce in the future nor do I want to speculate....

merely hope. I have a 24' sq foot section (6 by 4) sitting here in my basement where I am going to put a Bannockburn dio- just need one of these guys to make it for me!! :D:D

OC,
"Roden Miniatures" ?.....Can you send me a link please?
Like I've said before, the only way I can see us (Me'n'Chris) getting Scottish Wars of Independence figures is for us ourselves to carry out, or commission someone else, making slight conversions and repaint jobs on some of the Crusader figures.
A Culloden line would be cool. Minority interest? Maybe, but then again, there are plenty of people throughout the world who can trace their family tree back to participants in The '45, so you never know.

You know - I never really knew too much about Scotish Military History or the battles until I went to Nova Scotia last year. Their museums have great historic accounts and relics from those battles. And the stories of the Scotish fleeing the English and coming to Nova Scotia - very moving.

Ron,
We only ran away so many times cos it wuzzz the only way to get away from those English poofs and their atrocious public school accents....:eek: (Apologies to my many friends from South of the Border - but its true - maybe).
And besides......Who else would've been daft enough to settle in Nova Scotia, but us?
:D:D:D:D;)

I guess we should get back to the thread - huh ??

Has anyone got all the AK Range in their collection ? Or how many of you guys have 75% to 80% like me?

I have no DAK as yet, but intend getting the Panzer II and Stug III on 21st October to kick-start this section of our collection.
:)
