After the Cossacks, the Prussian ... (1 Viewer)

Great stuff mate; once again I love the photo work and backdrop. Of course you know I love the figures.:D Where did you get that backdrop BTW?

In these photos, the background blends perfectly with the figures. Great stuff!

This background is a picture I found online.

I just printed this image using half A4.
After just place well away from figures and the objective of the camera.
A tune with the position "macro" and we arrive at this result.:D;)

Brilliant work, and thanks for showing us your technique for the background used in your images. That gives me ideas as I'm wanting to produce some diorama images but I didn't know where to get the backgrounds, nor how to set them up.

Keep up the great work, I'd love to see even more from the Napoleonic War :)

Once again, I think your photos are brilliant. The Prussians are my favorite Napoleonic release from FL thus far. These images only reinforce the sentiment for me. Always look forward to seeing your displays. :)

Putting aside my collecting bias, they are my favorites too. It looks as though they are emerging from the backdrop painting.:D Of course those Russians are also pretty darn good.

Your backdrops remind me of the colour artwork in the Funcken uniform books of old.

Cheers,

Alex

You know...despite all the hype about Napoleon in this pose (which is supposed to represent him crossing the Alps), few know that when he crossed the Alps he was riding a donkey. :)

True but that would be such a nice FL figure.

No i don't have any of these. Those are Pegaso figures you buy then find a painter to get them painted for you.

A donkey or a horse "exhausted and tired by the cold "????...............

Hey now...when is that supposed to be?! Poly beat retreat from Russia in his carriage back to Paris well in advance of his troops...the pansy! And why does he have a musket?

Dear Nicholas
As I have never seen a picture or drawing of Napoleon on a donkey?
It is thought that this image as its "thoroughbred" is more like a mule or a donkey corresponded better with the historical truth that you specify.
A simple wink humor on my part.:D
For the gun I do not know why??? is an image I copy / paste on a website .... Regards.
