The Typhoon was not unlike some USA types in its dimensions, ones that proved useful as fighter-bombers, the Hellcat and P-47 for instance. It was quite a bit larger than little many of the smaller, "sportscar looking" aircraft that everyone is so familiar with. It's wingspan was a full five feet wider than a Mk.1 Spitfire, and it was considerably longer as well. From a visual standpoint, particularly on the ground, the greatest difference between it and the Spit was the height of its undercarriage, the Typhoon standing much taller on deck. Because of these factors, I'd be concerned that the model would tend to dwarf the figures, even at 1/28. Don't get me wrong, it looks like a beautiful kit. Still, I'd think that it'd be better to stick to smaller 1/24 subjects when pairing them with KC figure sets.
