Here are some pictures of the Airfix kits. The collector kits and multipose kits are hard plastic that must be assembled and painted. They sold box kits for a single mounted kit or cards for foot figures. The detail and sculpting are very good. Airfix also made soft plastic figures in 1/32 and 1/72 scale. Here is a picture of the collector kits. John

Airfix Lancer kit. These kits started an interest in painting figures and also a hobby for many years. I don't regret buying them and painting the figures. J

The WWll multipose figures have many uses for converting or parts. The figures are well detailed for their age. The Japanese figures are hard to find. The early boxes like this had six figures. John

Last one for now. The 1/32 scale soft plastic Matchbox figures which came out about the same time as the Airfix soft plastic figures. Matchbox has some good animated figures. John

Thanks for posting. I have just two mounted napoleonics. Never knew they had so many different periods to choose from.

I bought the entire se of multipose figure before Airfi went into administration well over a year ago. Some sets (multipose) seem to be back in the 2008 catalog but with paints included.

And I have to compliment you on the outstanding paintjobs!

Nice Collection there Leadmen lets hope they re-release them

Hi John,

Thanks for the memories, especially the Rifleman. Where else can you get a superb Baker rifle?
The Japanese multipose is now widely available as it was reissued a couple of years back.
I do miss the French Foreign Legionaire kit.

Nicely done John. The 7th Cav have got to rate as one of my favourite Airfix sets. Brilliant poses (and very nicely painted).

Simon
