Sorry for the poor quality photos taken with cell phone. Included are some of my K&C figures repaints. I am happy with my first diorama ever made!

hi mate,

thats a display you got there.

especially like the whermacht guard repaint and the volkstrumm medic repaint :):)

Yea mate,

Vallejo paints and steady hands were the way to go!

Still too lazy to repaint the boots.

Will take higher quality photos later with my digital camera for more close up shots of the repaints!

I was motivated to do this diorama after I didn't win the lottery prize (which Gordon promised to make any diorama for free for a collectors' club member in Hong Kong )

Great work! I thought I was looking at photos of Gordon's "Secret Airfield" diorama, and was wondering how you got up in my museum!:p:D

It's inspired by Gordon's "Secret Airfield" except its 3 times smaller, no Storch and I dare not to break the pharaoh statue. So I don't call it airfield.

Can't wait till we get the icecold in alex ambulance and I can set up a scene with 8th army.

Great Work ! :D

How did you make the base for the display ??

I use foam base and Busch modeler's sand for the base. I follow the instructions to mix the sand with water so that it will stick to the base and for molding. But when it drys crack lines appear.

Tips from anyone to avoid crack lines when dry?
