Andy has often said that the diorama setting is a bit like a stage, and the arrangement of the figures to fit it then tells the story. This "stage" was made several years ago and designed around the concept of a universal European building. Little has changed of thes preserved artefacts over time. I have used this stage to display figures from the English Civil War through to WWI - it has always served that purpose admirably, and the lighting adds definition to the detail of the figures as well as the accessories. Of course it helps that there are some really great figures available, and a master like Wayne to arrange them to effect.
