On auction #200315958748, I have an Alex repaint at a fair price..It is original K/C DD51 Churchill done in 8th Army Desert colors..Includes 2 crew and is in excellent condition..I have the box..Michael

Unless I miss my guess, I don't believe they saw action in the desert. However, looks excellent regardless.

I belive that the 1st Army used them in the Tunisian campaign.

I'm not a Churchill expert, but I believe that there were five Churchill IIIs at Alamein. Operated as "King Force" this evaluation unit was well photographed.
