All aboard for toy town (1 Viewer)

That is definitely one of the coolest things I've ever seen in the miniature world. I wish they had a full view of the display that showed the entire scene. It just goes to show some people have a lot more time and money to devote to their hobbies. I wish I was so lucky.:D When you think that guy built this stuff from scratch it is simply amazing .

That is outstanding. Until I saw the photograph of the creator, I thought (really did!) that this was life size. Considering the amount of figures and detail in these photos, I wouldn't want to even hazard a guess how long or how expensive it was to put this scene together.

Oz, great link. I just spent the last hour looking at thier pics, I'm in awe.

The guy built that train in 2 weeks aswome detail, great dios and fantastic photos.

What if Carlos collected 1/6 scale, can you imagine the size of his dios.

Check out thier website loads of pics http://www.tiger1.co.uk/Dioramas/index.htm

and we complain about storage space for 1/30 1/32 items

Thanks again QZ

Wow that is a Boxcar load of battle Barbies  Being a train guy as well, I am simply amazed.

Thanks Oz: the pics of the Dragon figures are great. I did not know they have armor and locomotive in that scale. Neat to look at. Leadmen

I have more 1/6th stuff than 1/30. I did a few dioramas, I posted a few of them on the other thread, but I can't make them look as good as the 1/30 etc. I was just going to try to really get into it, then came that fateful day when I found this Forum and you know the rest. Alex

Here is a really nice figure someone did...

Check out that link from Toy Soldier Brigade. The photos are mind blowing. Unless you know it's one 1/6th there's no way to know it's not the real thing.

Boy, the way he does those eyes.........OK when I get some time I am going to work on one, let me see how close I can get to that...I actually just did some Firefighters for the guys at work which came out pretty good. I am going to see if I can get one back and take a pic of it Alex

I did this one about 6 months ago for a Fire Captain I work with, his Father was at Iwo. It was just a cheap GI Joe.

Lookig over those links (thanks for posting them) is really delving deep into some bit of dementia.

I really hope I can afford that dementia someday. Till then, I'll stick to my small scale quirks.

Those dios are amazing. Owning some original WWII German photo albums, I wa fooled by some of them.
