Troops of the 82nd Airborne Division link up with some American Armor in a small French town, with more work to be done, this site must be a relief for the exhausted Paratroopers.

Real nice, using a different perspective, down the narrow ally.
Gotta' love those K&C Para's

The scene still looks a bit tense ... :redface2: ... maybe some snipers still lurking about.

Great little scene....love the realistic placement of the figures!!. Just one little flaw here, you would do better to replace the Easy 8 with an earlyer Sherman version, as the Easy did not see action till well after D.day Sorry just a "Historical correct "tick i have!!..... Nice work.

Yeah I was hoping no one would notice that :p Oh well, surprisingly our shop has no early versions of the Sherman at the moment otherwise I would have hopefully put the little bugger in it. Oh well!

Great catch!

Maybe, they better start looking for some high vantage points.

Still a great dio with loads of tension and stuff going on and it"s quite simple to correct your mistake!!.

Hi Robo,
Just woke up...Hong Kong time...checked into the Forum...and saw this terrific setup...GREAT!
A very creative use of perspective, placement of figures, vehicle and backdrop.
Thankyou for a great start to my day and hearty congratulations on a job well done!
Best wishes,
Andy.

Hey Andy,

Thank you for the kind words and acknowledgment of the display. Of course, this display could not have been possible without some great and quality figures from a certain Scotsman! We recently received some buildings from an old collector in the shop, he actually created them using cardboard and paint, he also made them to match a Normandy set up.

Glad I could start you day off well!

Robo!

great depth in your dio, love that
guy:smile2:

Thank you!

I was trying to figure out how to portray more depth in some of my displays and I have to say I am actually really pleased with the results!

Thanks again,
Robo!
