All Metal Model Vehicles & Planes… and Ships! (2 Viewers)

Hi Brad and All,

Thank you and all for sending me the link to the Metal Shed.......I can see what you mean by expensive.....they are really a chink of change....
Too bad the narrow gauge rail set is no longer part of the offerings.

Thankyou
Fleury

If it is the set that I have seen at shows, it is meant to operate on ac current for o gauge track.. The engine body is built over a Lionel engine motor and wheels set....Michael

Wayne.

Hi Wayne,
Thanks for the complement....
The vehicles " rolled in " one a time throughout the years....
They are TAW, First Gear, Scale Link, Bengurion, CJB, Britains Premier Series... and some civilian conversions that Obee has helped me with.
WW1 and inter War Era vehicles are not easy to come and the guys that did many of them are out of business such as TAW, CJB.
Scale Link in the UK is a great source these days for kits.....
Let me know if I can help you.
Regards,
Luiz

Great new vehicle.....off the beaten track, lots of imagination and ability to think out of the box! Not China mass produced and very accurate historically .........UK mould manufactured and Australian built to specks.....{sm4};):):smile2:

I just picked up my first Metalshed Model: A vintage New York City Fire Department Firetruck, at the show in New Jersey this morning. The price was right, and I know my son will love it. Photos below:

Louis ,

Great looking Fire Truck !! Metal Shed stuff is unique...Nice purchase...

Thanks, gentlemen, but I am going to try to make this an anomaly, rather than a portent of things to come . . . ^&grin

Your words betray you mon general "my first."

Hoisted by his own petard ^&grin

Nice pickup. Saw that but didn't realize it was Metal Shed. Glad that your son got it though. Fire engines and kids go together.

Brad ,

I think Metal Shed is awesomely unique ! However , I see why most buy only a piece or two...I have two pieces myself , a grey Pz II & a grey Sdkfz 222...But I see them more as art pieces...Something a collector of toy soldiers would add to their collections as an oddity or an AFV or vehicle you personally like...

Joe

Normally they do not show up at the front and are generally pulling their weight and that of others in the rear...well it took me a while and the great help of Obee to come up with this ALL METAL ....no fancy high tech plastic Steam Tractor paired to a heavy 8 " Howitzer......this baby has just been released for HQ inspection and is bound to the troop ship soon.....The garrison due to some logistics mess up ( mine ) will follow soon.....
I the world of Artillery I figured out that too much had already been dedicated to the light field guns in the great war...so I was fortunate to tap into some sources and get emblematic samples of the great heavies from the British, German and Austrian stock and will with the help of Obee be showing them during the course of 2016-2017.......
Cheers
