Just curious how many of you have every Napoleonic figure including special addition/club figures/limited figures etc??? (except the old glossy)

WELLINGTON

As for me I still need 5 or 6 more figures...which I am working on very slowly.

Wellington,

Very impressive! Some of those KCS figures are impossible to find :(

I am trying, but I am not even close, except for British Infantry. Then again, I do collect other eras. Specialization in K&C does have its pluses. Of course if you only collect one era then you have to wait a lot longer for new releases.

I have the entire range including the KCS variations and the Collector Club figures. Finding the KCS figures was a pain, but I have them all. I lucked up and bought two Vistula Lancers for just a few dollars more than the initial offering. Those were the hardest to find.

Since I have all of them, I have branched out a little in my purchases. I collect some of the K&C AWI figures and some of the John Jenkins Seven Years War line. In fact, we have already started having Christmas with my extended family and I have already received several K&C AWI figures and some John Jenkins figures. I must say, my wife is pretty awesome. She apparently coordinated everyone's gifts to me for Christmas and my birthday off my toy soldier wish list I keep on her computer. By doing that, she never has to guess at what I have and what I want in the future.

I am looking forward to some more Naps from K&C in 2008. I hope this year they start to branch out to the host of other nations that took part in the wars. More British would be great too. The French in my cabinet really out number my British at the moment.

I would like to see K&C tackle the French invasion of Russia. I have the retreat from Russia figures from Manes Marzano and I love those sets.

Heres a rare one for you..have you seen the stand alone Napoleon figure and if so even more is his rarer counter part who is a French Calvary Figure both were given out before the line even took off to dealers? I can't seem to find a picture of him but if someone does could they share it?

Here is the Napoleon figure on page three as for the other there are no pics that I can see.

Fishead may have a pic he could share.....

Okay now, I would love to see some photos of those collections. I had almost all of the 42nd Highlanders at one point, but decided to sell them. I am slowly rebuilding my Napoleonic collection, but at present it includes only a small contingent of Gordons by LL and Alexanders.

Actually its nice to see alot of the older Napoleonics retired and new ones coming out... it gives this series some depth which will hopefully continue...:)

Are you talking about this one. It's the only matte Napoleonics I own.

Brad just posted a picture for you of the Napoleon figure wich is the same as the del prado Napoleon figure but with a better paint job and is listed as K&C under the base of the figure.
The second special issue figure is a british hussar not a french cavalry figure and is also a del prado figure pose painted a bit differently and labled K&C under the base.
I have both of these figures and two of the Napoleon figure. I,m holding the second Napoleon as a future bargining chip. I also had a 3rd Napoleon figure wich I sold to louis.
I have all of the K&C Napoleonic figures to date except The latest Murat collectors club figure and I know there was another british club figure of a grenadier figure or artillary figure or something like that and I don,t have that figure either.
If there are any other special figures besides the collectors club figures and the ksc cavalry figures and older gloss figures I have no knowledge of them.

So besides the older gloss figures the murat club figure and the special issue french figure released in england only? I have the whole K&C Napoleonic collection. I don,t have a lot of doubles and tripples of them to build up dioramas but I do have at least one of all those figures realeased to date and I,m enjoying the break from new releases right now because its tough keeping up with all the new realses and finding room to store them all.

I posted a diorama on the bored tonight thread that included just about all of the K&C collection in it.

I,d like to pick up more of the highlanders before they retire and would love to have enough to do a square but I just don,t have the cash to do that and it would be a lot cheaper to find frontline or britains ect. that I can find for much less money and build a lot bigger square at a fraction of the price.
I also love the new cuirassiers and have no problem with mixing them with other figures from other companies for massed cavalry attacks.

Tim,

I just took a look at those photos of the K & Cs and that's amazing stuff and I'm sure that's just a fraction of your collection!

If that is the K&C Promo dealer Napoleon figure, I think I ended up with 2 of them myself. I am slowly digging out the duplicates to trade/barter/sell.

My little hint is that a future AK collector will be happy at what I uncovered in my search of my own dupes!

Here is my Nap Collection. I don't have a lot of multiples myself. I also don't have the space for a diorama. Well, I do have one location and after Christmas I will work on that.

The only pieces I don't have are the ones that K&C did originally for Del Prado. I believe that is all I am missing of the matte figures.

Hi mk26gmls,

What a wonderful and impressive display of a great collection! It is outstanding! I very much like the way you have chosen to display your figures. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Wow!, what a collection, very impressive. Thanks for the pics.

GREAT COLLECTION, AND THE WAY YOU DISPLAYED THEM IS EXCELLENT!!!!! FISHEAD...The Hussar was the one I was speaking of, I'm just too lazy to think being Christmas and all but I knew you would straighten it all out for me. I have all the figures (including all club and special orders) except 4 of the new French calvary.

WELLINGTON

Regarding the way you displayed your collection I think that I will do that for the remainder of what I collect it looks good and doesn't take alot of room up..thanks for sharing. I also think mirrors always help with a collection which I have failed to do on mine.

Does anyone have a pic of the Hussar?????????
