Used to Larry and a lovely Cat it was too, though anyone who collects Toy Soldiers and has them on display and has a Cat, is living very dangerously ! ^&grin

Lets hope Little Larry doesn't come across one of these additions in the Land of the Giants ! {eek3}

Larry , having visited the Nile Valley, Cairo and the Delta fourteen times over the years because of it's fascinating History, I know how persistent Egyptian Hawkers can be. You have to be quite ruthless to get them to go away and be very careful when buying anything as they will try all sorts of tricks and cons !

Although I have traveled extensively through most of Europe and a good bit of Asia, I have never (sadly) been to the land of the Pharaohs. I have also been on a few cruises to the Caribbean. When you debarked from the ship and hit shore you are inundated with hawkers and merchants trying to sell you every thing under the sun and then some! Some are so good that can steal your underwear and sell t back to you twice in 60 seconds ... {sm4}

14 times! That's amazing, you could probably give tours (maybe you did :smile2. Only been there once, while in the air force. Did get to see a few pyramids.
