Thanks Randy; have to love the basement, ie, the mancave. My little corner of heaven where I get to restage history's epic battles, life is good........

Thanks Tim; 8 by 5, maybe you are right..........

Did you paint them all yourself. They look excellent considering that they are so small.

Very nice! I like your buildings. Wo makes them? What about the bushy tree in one of your photos? Do you only collect ACW in 20mm? Nice diversity to your collection and you can create bigger dioramas for less cost and space! :)

Very nice Warrior i can se you have put a lot of work into that .
I paint some 1/72 scale myself from time to time.
are they metal or plastic?..... again nice work :)

Excellent collection and display George; really over the top.:D:D I also look forward to the Napoleonic version.:cool:

Thanks Mark. Believe it or not, I painted them all myself, I tried different techniques with them, ie, some have washes, some are drybrushed, some are just strait painted with no other techniques involved.

Will you be able to make it to Hackensack Sunday? Let me know......

Thanks for the feeback HFTA; the buildings are made by a company called Musket Miniatures, they have a website, I painted them myself. The bushy tree is a JG miniatures tree, they are designed for you 54mm guys, but work great with 1/72nd.

In addition to ACW, I also collect WWII and Napoleonics; I've done quite a few WWII dioramas in this section of the forum, look for more soon.

You hit the nail on the head as to why I do 1/72nd; you can do a lot more with a lot less space.

Thanks Ragnar. They are 99% metal, sadly, most are out of production as 20mm ACW is not a very popular scale for wargamers, they use mostly 15mm and 25mm for ACW..........

Thanks Spitfrnd, I really have to admit I did go over the top on this one, but wait until you see what is in the works; small hint............I am off to Gettysburg next weekend, I will come back all fired up and motivated and....................well, you can connect the dots from there.......
