Good morning,

I'm new on the forum , I like very much the ACW soldiers and the historical period , both the horsemen ( blue and gray ) or the walking ones.
Nowhere I've found recent news about this, does somebody knows about the possibility of new releases , expecially horsemen in different poses to put together with the older ones ?
Hope someone has good news about or, if better subscribe a petition to K&C for producing !
Another question to expert collectors ...
May be I'm wrong with this, but I've seen ( only on internet ) some interesting "Charge of Gettysburg" horsemen from Black Hawk ; Is it possible to merge together with K&C ( similar quality or not ? same size ? different aspect ?
Thank you very much to all collectors and experts for answering !

K&C figures are 1/29-1/30 scale.
Black Hawk are 1/32. For me it's hard to mix them, there is a "big" difference of scale.

Black hawk seems, in my opinion, not finished in painting job; If you like the ACW period, you'd better match K&C with Collectors showcase!

Have a nice day (or evening, i see you are in Italy)

I don't think Civil War is a big priority for K & C as is their other ranges. This is not to say they won't make some from time to time but they do have other concerns.

Thanks for posting, for suggestion and opinion. I thought Acw had more interest and collectors, first of all in the Us; however I hope in future releases even if it seems to be difficult ; in my opinion the greys on horse are really very nice !

I believe the Civil War does have a lot of collectors but I think many of them collect Britains; that is a very important range for Britains.

First Legion also makes American Civil War soldiers.

As Brad said, check out the Britains thread and you will see more ACW postings. I put one there yesterday. Chris

The thing is that some months ago, after the retirements, KC made a few confederates and a few unionists infantry who probably weren' t sold well, so nothing new after that. Actually, I
didn' t like them either....

Take a look at Chris' continuing thread on the American Civil War. It's not to be missed!

Same thing with UK Reb.

K & C make great soldiers when they make; it's just not a deep commitment for them.

I think Britains is # 1 in the ACW right now.FL has some very nice ones but Napoleonics is their flagship range.

Welcome to the forum my friend! My main area of interest is ACW and I have owned figures from King & Country, Britains and First Legion. As you know K&C does not produce many American Civil War figures. I really wish they made more because I do like them. I own several of the Confederate personalities and they are at the top of my collection as far as likability. I still pick up any ACW figures K&C produce, but the main company for my collection is First Legion. I recommend you take a look at that company for any of your collector needs. Their ACW and WWII are simply amazing. You may pay more per figure when compared to other companies, but the detail you get with each is so worth it. Happy collecting with whatever you venture into! :)
