American Revolution figures need ID and Manufacturer (1 Viewer)

Found these in a collection I am going through. No marks on the bottom, they have moveable arms, but few are difficult to rotate. I think they are missing their bayonets. They measure 55mm. Any information would be appreciated. Have a great 4th of July

Hi, Simos!

The Continental at present arms at the very right of the picture looks like an Imrie-Risley figure. If there are no marks underneath, then it's likely a copy of an I/R figure. There are plenty of copies around. An original I/R kit will have the company's "I/R" script logo, or some of the older ones have "IMRIE" or "HELENIC" inscribed.

The others look familiar but I'd have to take a look through my files.

Even if there are no marks underneath, it'd still be helpful to show a picture of the undersides. You never know.

I added another photo and it looks like they are copies. The one you mentioned does have the IMRIE marking, but I think it is a home cast?

The marching figures look like old Jack Scruby 54mms to me, but unfortunately I can't find any of the old hardcopy catalogs I have "somewhere." Maybe if someone has an old Scruby catalog they could check?

Yeah, that's a good guess. I can see it.

Regarding the I/R figure, Simos, with the mark under the base, I'd say it's an original I/R kit figure, not a homecast copy. Not many guys who make a mold of a figure bother to copy things like that. But there are a good number out there.
