Andy,
Is there any possible way to acquire the AR cannon? I've searched everywhere and have been unable to locate them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and keep up the great work!

They are very hard to find - Ebay has one every now and then - but, the piece usually goes through the roof.

Are you looking for just the Cannon or an entire Artillery Set?

Ron

Any links to the European dealers? Unfortunately none of these include the cannon. Thanks

Welcome to the forum neighbor! I,m from fall river mass. Glad to have you join the nut house.
I have seen these sets around not that long ago but I can,t remember where off hand right now. If I come across them again i,ll let you know.

The del prado british napoleonic cannon can be found pretty easy and could be used in place of the K&C if you don,t have any luck.

Fall River? That's Lizzie Borden country. I stayed in the B&B there. Some great portuguese food in that area.

You,ve got it! :D Lizzie borden took an axe, gave her mother 40 wacks,
There are lots of great portuguese resturants in the this town its one of the only good things about this town!:p Did you get to visit the battle ship cove while you where here?

Here it is:

Lizzie Borden took and axe
Gave her mother 40 whacks,
When she saw what she had done
She gave her father 41.

Have you ever made the trip up to the hobby bunker store in boston? He some times has some of the retired K&C and its a great store if you,ve never been there its worth the trip to check it out its loaded with tons of great stuff.

Tim,
A brush with greatness...very cool. Unfortunately I don't know of the Hobby Bunker in Boston. Is there a link? I'd love to check it out. Hope to see you at the Dedham show then.

Corey

http://www.hobbybunker.com/ The store is I believe in malden just outside of boston and its one of the biggest toy soldiers stores in the states and well worth the trip to chech it out. They carry just about everything in there. They also have a forum.

Wow,
Great link...thanks so much. Although my wife wasn't overly excited to find out I'm dragging her with me this weekend :)

I'm going to have to give George Guerriero of Minuteman Toy Soldiers equal time. Nothing against Matt of Hobby Bunker but George is one of the best guys around. His website is www.mmtoysoldiers.com and he's located in Taunton.

Yes, I really enjoyed it. Spent the night at the Lizzie Borden B&B and then on the "hill" at Maplecroft. Some great victorian homes. We ate one night at a culinary school of some sort - very good. I think it was in a former church that LB once attended. If you can believe it, I am a lifetime member of the Fall River Historical Society even though I've been there only twice.

I must agree with you brad and I do more bussiness with george then hobby bunker. George is a great guy but george dosn,t have the the big store (he only does mail oder or you can arrange a pick up like I do)that hobby bunker has and I thought it would be a great experince for him to go to the store and be able to see all these figures in person and have a great day out doing it. I don,t know if you,ve ever been to the store but the first time in there can be a great experience its a place where you can see just about all of the current production figures out on the market today in both plastic and metal as well as kits models paints gaming and all kinds of other stuff also.

I would love to see (in person) Hobby Bunker, Sierra Toy Soldiers, Michigan Toy Soldiers, Spirit-of-76, or any other of the great toy soldier stores in the country. Someday (you can now see me day dreaming about travel time to see more CW battlefields and toy soldier stores).

I think the closest store (and yes Shannon, I know you have lots of stuff too, but a store is something of a whole other world) to me is Michigan Toy Soldiers and that's at least a day and a half drive time. So in the mean time, I take the picture tours of all the web sites I can and buy from George. Maybe someday Hobby Bunker, Sierra and others will post pictures of their shops and Michigan Toy Soldier will update their shop pictures.
