I put this under the K&C tab...the truth is...most of the figures are K&C...but there are a lot of Del Prado in there...I have been meaning to start photographing my Crusader series...so here's a start...

Michael

Did you make that gorgeous Crusader tent and the cask with spigot?

I think that is the Schleich tent Randy though I am not 100% sure. If so, he did a great job os deceiving us as it is scaled for bigger figures. :)

No...I wish I could do work like that...it's a Schleigh product...bought from Treefrog and is only $24.00...item #S40193...it's very sturdy...heavy soft plastic...easy to assermble and practically unbreakable...a nice bargain price for a prop...

The Schleigh products do run big...but it is not at all unsuitable for a 54mm Crusader tent...some of them were very large and grand...they also have tournament tents...$16.50...Treefrog has them too...I have both

Randy...here's a picture of the jousting tent with a figure included so you can see the scale...I glued the image of the coat of arms on it...I honestly believe the scale is just fine on both pieces...soft plastic...very sturdy...

wasn't a criticism, just an observation. Clearly they do work. I just know the Schleich figures are a tad bigger than our stuff.

Never took it as a criticism Chris...you are 100% right...it's true...they are bigger...Schleigh is definitely bigger than 54mm...but I think they can work together...I founds the piece on somebodies diorama of Roman figures...

one last picture and I'm finished...you know I had to get my cartoon in on "An Important Man Is Wounded"...hehehe...which is already my new desktop...

your cartoon pics always turn out so much better than mine. :p:eek: I think it has to do with the colors of the Crusaders.

Great collection bud!!

BTW- Does that 10-key in the background crunch your defense budget spending??

Chris since I retired...I can't add anymore...hahaha...something about the environment I guess...all play no work...I'm lost without an adding machine...that's a Monroe 4130...it must be 30-35 years old...

when I cartoon a picture...I take it with a flash...not the diorama pictures...just the cartoon...it makes them sharper...it's Kodak software...

I remember adding machines...Nearly failed an accountancy exam in the mid 80's when a girl sitting next to me insisted on using one throughout the exam....Wrrrr, Wrrrr, Wrrr for two hours...SO ANNOYING....passed the exam though. Have you opened those JJD boxes yet???

Yet again another excellent series of photos Sir Michael of Texashire :)

I could look at these all day !!

Michael,
As always GREAT dio and pics. The other maker's figs blend in quite well. Keep 'em coming !

I am not really into this era, or the entire medieval period and Renaissance, at all, as in it's really not my thing. But these pics are GREAT, and really tell a nice story. Thanks
