Here is a recent interview with Robert Caro, the biographer of Lyndon Johnson.

From the interview, it appears that he may be around halfway through the fifth and final volume. I’m guessing we won’t see it for another five years.

I wonder if it will ever be completed. Caro is already in his 80s. Once he gets to 1968 and the end of LBJ's presidency there wouldn't be much more ground to cover. Vietnam is a whole book unto itself though.
 
I really enjoyed his book about Robert Moses. I look at NYC skyline differently after that book.
 
The Power Broker is fabulous as are all his LBJ books; the first two volumes are my favorites.

Let’s hope he lives to finish the book. His strength must be indefatigable. I doubt I could do that.
