Yes I am hanging out for some new sets, have them all so far. Some good ideas in this thread for additional sets. Some I would like to see are some figures dragging a large stone, perhaps some separate square stones and a triangle one that could rest together to form a small pyramid, slave handlers, several more different poses of soldiers (sword and archer, on horse back perhaps), market stalls and Romans. Plently of scope for this colourful and interesting series yet. This series is what started my 54mm- 60mm collecting some 5 years ago, which I now concentrate on 12 themes. (7 K&C, 3 BRITAINS, 1 JOHN JENKINS, I HERITAGE) I have set up my Zulu and Ancient Egypt side by side, at several shows and the interest from young and old is mainly directed toward the Egypt display, it seems to capture most people's imagination. I am expecting new releases shortly given most of 2010 went to WW11. Cheers, Robin.

You're quite right about the AE line capturing most people's imaginations. Ancient Egypt alone seems to fascinate people in ways that other civilizations haven't. Also, I feel that K&C departed from the norm by creating figures in everyday, non-combat poses. I had expected my oldest friend, whom I hadn't seen for many years, to have gravitated more to my Napoleonics & FIW collections. Imagine my (pleasant) surprise when his greatest praise was reserved for the AE figures. So, my vote would be for more figures from everyday Egyptian life as well as for buildings,Nile boats, and such.

I love Ancient Egypt, it was one of the first K&C things that caught my eye. One board member sold me a Temple Facade which is still my favorite dio piece.

I haven't bought anything new in a while, I'm not even sure when the last new releases were.

Everyone's ideas for new figures sounds good. The Nile boat scares me because of the cost and room that might be involved. I think Andy could make some killer Nile themed additions based on the US Navy and Sampan pieces. I'd love to see some crocodiles.

Speaking of Egypt, maybe there could be a "Life of Moses" series. If the New Testament can work, why not the old...much more action:).

Great pics the chariot was an excellent set. When its displayed like this you can see why its popular

I'm sure some of those have got extra clothing on. Must be from the Winter series.:D

Really like this series. I'm a bit of a latecomer to the AE party, but have gotten most of the pieces I wanted so far. Looking forward to this expanding.

Ancient Egypt is the biggest waste of money! No real value in there. It looks horrible and ruins every real Soldier collection!

So, if any of you wants to sell off their Cleopatra now please PM me :D
