So I was just making polite conversation, asking him where this road was going and he turns round and says all sarky like, " Didn't I know, all roads lead to Rome !"

Nice set up and picture, is that Scorhill Stone Circle, if it is, look out for those Dumnonii tribesmen.

I think the guy resting is saying "No one will care after we have built this road, when we tell them they will not believe what we Romans did for them!".

Great sets and picture, really mixed together well, the figures, the background and the grass, brilliant job.
Does one of those Surveyors have 'Hairy Hands', are they building what would become the B3212 road, which would explain a lot.
