Now, is the new range "a new range" or do they mean WWII?

Imagine it is "a new range" (i.e. range No 3 after Nap, Samurai and WWII), what are you betting your money on?

I would say ACW.

That would be my guess too. Their high quality detail would look good on the battleworn confederate clothing to the elaborate uniforms like the Zouaves.

Earlier this year or late last year, Matt got involved in some interesting discussions about the Civil War and made a few comments about maybe doing Civil War and I think a lot of us encouraged him to do that. I would love to see it. I think that would be fascinating.

I have to agree.

That would be an absolute winner for Matt and FL I am sure.

It will be very difficult not to buy any FL products in the future....

Well, in regards to this, there is both good news and bad news. The bad news is that particular workbench reference is dated and was about the WWII figures. I just deleted it from the site. The good news is that we are in early stages of not one, but two new ranges. Still a long way off from release as we have so much to do with our Napoleonics, WWII, and Samurai, however, the wheels have been set in motion and we're pretty excited about our future.

I leave you to speculate all that you want. I will not be commenting one way or another so don't ask (or don't expect an answer if you do!). What I will promise is that we won't disappoint and fully intend on raising the bar even higher.

Thanks for the diplomatic update Matt.

We have fun speculating - and I hope that if you read 100% support for ACW, you will not come up with the Jacobite Rebellion or alike! That is deeply covered elsewhere ;-).

Well, yes, there does seem to be strong support for ACW. But that's because you mentioned ACW. ;) Had you mentioned another topic I'm sure there would be support from different people on that topic.

Maybe you or someone else should setup one of those polls and let everyone vote on it. Probably won't change our plans, but I'd be curious to see the results...

I suppose the Sudan War would be too much to ask for?? :)

The best type of poll would be one where you could vote for you top 3 to 5 choices, assigning 5 to the first, 4 to the second, etc and totalling the points for each option. As far as I know, you can't do that here, except prehaps manually.;)

Im all for First Legion making its move into the land of the Blue and the Grey. However some may ask that there be equal consideration given to a certain Florida Native American Tribe :p;):D

I would guess perhaps the AZW as there is little competition in that field at the moment and it does prove to be rather popular. :D

I know that i am a voice in the wilderness, and I don't know how well the line would sell but the Boxer Rebellion would be an interesting line with the various countries involved and the colorful uniforms. A plus would be the the Japanese and Russian figures would work for the 1905 war. The other country's armies work for various colonial themes.
