That sort of thing happens when you've not got much to do and end up just hanging around.

Nice creation! Have you tested it yet?

Reminds me of "Hang 'Em High!"

Nice work! What scale is this, and what are your materials?

Prosit!
Brad

1:35 scale 57mm. or there abouts, its based on the scaffold used for the Lincoln assassins execution or at least the trap door mechanism is... as for the rest i have as usual gone over the top a bit ! and it`s made from pine and hardwood scraps

Don't need none of tham there sandbags....sacrifice a metal figure. If it's head comes off with the drop, but the structure remains intact, then you've got yerself a fine piece furniture.
Gallows humour. (sorry)

For sandbags, try Milliput or some other putty, or Elmer's Wood Putty. You can shape it pretty easily, and use a piece of a T-shirt to imprint a burlap texture to the surface (old tip from Shep Paine).

Prost!
Brad

four confederate sailors captured sailors from the CSS. Albemarle. moored upstairs in the front box room, and strangely two more manning the trap door turncoats ...

Steve...that's some nice wood work...great project...I'm glad to see I'm not the only one on here with a "twisted dark side"...I made one for my Crusaders castle sets...it's not functional...it's a Hirst Arts project...but it turned out okay...great job on yours...
