Maybe it's me but I don't think that stuff looks bad at all?? ^&confuse^&confuse Everyone gets so up in arms about the 1:28th issue and saying these sets these days are getting bigger- really much difference with 1:24th? ^&confuse

I am curious if the unit markers are correct??{sm4}

Seriously fellas, I don't think the stuff looks bad at all. I remember fondly when KC figs were $19/ a pop are they less quality than $50 figures today?? Let me throw some of those figures on ebay or whatever and see what the collecting community says.

Agree. They look decent to me though; And prices are pretty good.

I have collected KC almost exclusively for several years (2000) now so I am not sure who I am attacking here as I have an extensive collection spanning several ranges.

Quality is different things to different people and I am not looking to belabor the point here. I have spent 100+ clams on Russian figures as I percieve the quality to be there. I spent $19 or whatever on KC figures back in the day because the quality was there. I haven't bought any KC figures for nearly a year now and don't intend to in the immediate future simply because they are now out of my price range. Sorry if that offends you, just the truth from this grunt. I'm not saying the quality isn't there today, they are just out of my price range anymore.

Irrespective, John G posted about this company he discovered and wanted to share it. He has a track record of creating threads which always lead to interesting and colored discusssions. I wanted to be part of that. Seemed like a lot of comments were going against this company he mentioned when I thought they look rather well done to me.

I stepped back from this forum a few months ago because of all the KC/First Legion tit-for-tat and the "You are disrespecting my company" discsussions from collectors. Unfortunately, looks like things haven't changed. :redface2:

True... not to much changes on this forum...

Hello Andy! {eek3} How come TOY EAST Company in China, is NOW making WW2 German Werhmacht Figure's and U.S. American army Figure's and they are Selling for ($17.00US Each)? And your Company is Charging us Collectors ($42.00US) Per Figure? Something is wrong in Denmark? Your Vehicle's are way over the Price Limit! You the MAN, why let this Happen? CIAO!

Why single out K&C as per price of figures ? These figures are for VS 1/24 RC tank range

Well, I said it earlier on, John G definately gets the most interesting and unusal threads going, appears he's still the reigning king in that aspect. {sm4}

You know, those figures are 1/24 and they are pretty nice. Finish quality is not at K&C level but they are good pieces. What I find really compelling are the buildings. At 1/24, they would fit alright with with the 1/28-1/30 scale makers.

Chris,

You may not have noticed it but since you stepped back Shannon, Pete, Dave, Scott and Pat have done yeomans work in reducing the temperature and I believe this is a much more better place these days because of their efforts.

As far as John goes, I have seen John's posts since he first joined the Forum and let's just say some of them are interesting in a stream of consciousness sort of way :wink2:

I second that. The guys have done an excellent job in lowering the temp around here and there seems to be much less deliberate baiting which got so tedious so quickly, we now have just what this forum is for, sharing and enjoying the hobby regardless of which producer we choose to collect. {bravo}}

As for Mr Gambale, its nice to see him posting a thread that stimulates discussion whether we agree or not, instead of the suggestions that tend to disappear as soon as they arrive.
