Dear All,
After the huge success of the JJD 1st Annual ASIA Event in Singapore last year, John Jenkins Designs would like to extend a very warm welcome to all collectors to the JJD 2nd ANNUAL ASIA EVENT!
This year’s event will be taking place at/on:
Plat du Jour,
Ground Floor Auditorium,
Pacific Place, Admiralty (MTR Exit F)
Hong Kong SAR
6:00pm-10:30pm (HK Time +7hrs GMT), 14th August 2018 ***

Plat du Jour is John’s (and a few other of his acolytes’) favourite bar and the scene of a great many Toy Soldier discussions over the past couple of years. It is in effect the ‘Official JJD Bar’.
A significant number of visitors to HK who meet John are taken here and the bar staff and management have evolved quite a critical eye for John’s work. As a lot of you know, it’s not easy to get John away from the smell of thinner, putty and the social safety of his ‘Sculpting Cave’ in Wong Chuk Hang, but wine, beef and the whiff of collectors get him out of his burrow.
This years’ event has actually grown out of a bunch of collectors in a Toy Soldier WhatsApp group covering Asian Collectors who started to arrange visits to HK to see John and it has snowballed very quickly into an annual event – sorry for the late notice.
*** Yes, we know that it’s in about 6-days’ time and not many of you can fly around the world to join John and his fanboys and girls.

THE EVENT WILL ALSO EXIST IN TEXT, PICTURE, VIDEO AND LIVE-FEED FORM
through the ‘Toy Soldier Collector Asia’ Facebook group (link attached). Please see the evening’s structure (coming on Friday and Saturday) for ways you can interact with John, get sneak peaks and WIN FREE STUFF.
• If you would like to attend in person (yes, we still know it’s late notice) then please reply to this message, message John or just rock-up in person and hope there’s some space/beer/wine/food/raffle prizes left. Space is quite limited, but the more the merrier if you have Air-miles to splurge.
• If you would like to get involved in the ‘Ask John Q&A’ on the internet, please see the evening structure which will be posted over the next few days.
• If you’d like to see a number of never seen before ‘Pre-release’ pieces including a new plane, please see the evening structure which will be posted over the next few days.

Through the means of twenty first century modern technology, we hope as many collectors from all around the world can participate, share in the fun and enjoy this the JJD 2nd ANNUAL ASIA EVENT!
