Anybody know who made these Zulus , they are circa 70s I think. Well done, if they are painted castings, a professional did them!

Thanks!

Hi Tom,
I am not quite sure but they could be early Marlborough figures for the Rorke Drift.

Tom, I have some of these same poses, painted differently, so they might be castings..I got mine off of Ebay, years ago. There was an outfit from New York ( ? ) that sold these poses as well as Brits. All were excellently painted in a high gloss..I have 3 sets from the different Zulu regiments..If needed for comparison , I can post photos..Michael

In looking closely at your figures and mine again, I am pretty sure they were all done by the same east coast outfit. Michael

Thanks Michael, that sounds right, they are well done in gloss. Wild facial features too. Neat set, just wish I knew the maker.
