I see that Bernard Cornwell is releasing yet another book about Richard Sharpe's exploits in the Peninsular War in Spain

I am really looking forward to the new book, the one released in 2021 i read in less than 2 days after i got it, on the day it was released.

If you are seeking another writer of a similar genre i would recommend Adrian Goldworthy, he wrote a great fiction series of books on British Gentlemen Soldiers, opposite to Sharp, Gentlemen who initially served as infantry, but were allowed in the officers mess etc as they were gentlemen but did not have the funds to purchase a commission.

Another is the Markham of the Marines 3 book series by Tom Connery

Thanks for the tip, but I've read them too, but I'm always on the lookout for historical fiction from the Napoleonic Wars.
