Another "Rommel in the Desert" (Dio) (1 Viewer)

Part 2 of Rommel in the Desert this time featuring Rommel's halftrack "GREIF". The AK29 - SL set is a favorite of mine.

The ME-109 is another 21st Century 1/32 scale plane that I weathered some (unlike the Stuka which was straight from the box) with a black wash, some drybrushing, etc.

Great DIO Duke this piece the "GRIEF" is what got my collecting K+C,s AK range and now its my main focus i wish they would do so more "Command"vehicles but with different commanders its a great little halftrack,well done mate great pics..........:salute::

Nice display Duke. I like the Rommel halftrack and have one in my collection. The aircraft looks good. I have a few ME-109's but not in Desert camo. Maybe I will repaint one this summer. John

Thanks guys. Those 21st Century planes are great candidates for repaints due to the low cost, so you don't have to worry so much if you mess up!

Thanks PM... and I think the Desert Fox was a great commander and all, but I sure am glad he and the AK did eventually lose and get run out of N. Africa!
