Ok, Imperial German lovers, who made these? Hessians, correct?

Clues - Factory Glossy. Marking on Base is "RS". I probably know the answer, but honorable brain has frozen on this mystery!!!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Richards Soldiers. Made in Connecticut by Richard Herring (sp?) in the 1970s-80s. I have about 30 of his American Revolutionary War sets, most of which are still tied in their boxes. This might be an ARW set. When I get a chance, I'll check and see if I can further identify this set.

Mike,
you are the man, that sounds right! Thanks again!

Nice set! I just picked-up some glossy ACW sets at prices way below retail in keeping with my new collecting direction... My matte collecting days are winding down as I attempt to diversify my collection at much, much better prices! :):):)

As promised, I checked to see if I had this set; I do. It is the Von Riedesel Regiment, 1777. I counted my Richards Soldiers sets: I have 29 including one artillery set. I also have 15 unboxed mounted figures. I don't know how many mounted figures came to a box, so I don't know how many sets they represent. At some point in the future, I will start a new thread with photos of the sets I have in my collection to help create a historic reference on this long gone manufacturer.
