I am cleaning out loose figures and have come across some more that have me stumped, any help I do appreciate as I am cleaning these out!

The horses in Nrs. 3 and 4 look very similar to the casting you get from one of the Prins August molds, especially the one in Nr. 4, which makes me think that all four of those figures are homecasts.

I will agree with the homecast part on #4 except that it reminded me of Lil Army from Dutkins. The rest I am stumped.

I think you're right on the foot figure in #4, KV, and the one on #1 is also reminiscent of Li'l Army molds. On a closer look at the last pic, too, I think the first three figures are Stadden/Tradition castings, too.

Need to hit the references for some of these...

Boy you guys are good, I will agree on bases for Stadden Castings, I think that is correct. As for Britains, that is correct and the one next to it is Minimens. I am really curious on #1, he looks familar and I can't remember where he is from. These are all from a 1970s collection, a lot are castings, I am finally cleaning them out as they do not fit my own collection save a few pieces. I bought these in many lots over the years, so it has been fun trying to id them so that I can trade/sale them. I have found part of the fun of my hobby to do this, buy big lot, keep what fits and then trade/sell the rest. The trick is trying to id them, also, it is fun when people buy them as they are doing the same thing, keeping what works for them. I am sure I have given a few rarities away, but that's ok by me, for the small investment I made and the basic recoup of small funds back, the activity itself is kind of fun. PLus, I can't tell you how many really cool pieces I have ended up with, namely a fantastic set of Valiant Gurghka that was collector painted and look great. Again, thanks again for all of your help, hopefully some of you find this fun too.

Absolutely, Tom, these puzzles are fun!

It's always amazing to see, too, how many different manufacturers there have been over the years, many just guys who cast as a sidelight, and so, there are so many things that were almost undocumented.

Prost!

Re the tin bases that appear to be Staddens, some other companies including Lassett also used tin bases at around the same time.
