Yo Troopers, Really well pleased again to add another Chas Stadden FIRST model made to the collection. Its the " Squadron Corporal Major Of The Life Guards With Sovereigns Standard". Just like the Mounted Blues and Royals I showed a few days back with the Certificate, this model was sent to the Household Cavalry for Verification, probably at the same time seeing its signed by the same Commanding Officer in 1981, They had a new Commanding Officer in 1982. I really feel honoured to own these two First models made by the Master himself.:) Will post another photo when it arrives, taken this photo from the web.
Bernard.

Bernard, Wow! that is a model and a half :) You have a rather superb collection of these now.

Very nice Bernard!

I've always liked the Lifeguard's uniforms. Between them and the Beefeaters, they're two of the most famous symbols of Britain.

Thanks for posting,

Chuck

Another excellent figure Bernard. Did they make any other figures of the household cavalry? Are these 90mm ?

Yo Jeff, Chuck & Scott, cheers for the comment. The only Household Cavalry Chas made Scott were this Life Guard, and a Lifeguard Trumpeter which is exactly the same model as the Blues & Royals Trumpeter, seeing the Trumpeter did not wear the Cuirass, so it was just painted as a life Guard. there were also a model of each made dismounted as the life Guard in my album. In all Chas only made 8 mounted in 90mm in his collection.

Blues & Royals Trumpeter.
Life Guard Trumpeter.
Corporal Major with Standard.
Trooper 2nd Royal North Dragoons. (Scots Greys)
Same model with 92nd Highlander running alongside.
Soldat Premier Regiment de Cruiassier.
Same model with Voltiguer 45th de Ligne Waterloo running alongside.
And the Creme De La. lol The Queens Own Hussars Drum Horse, now that Regiment sounds familiar:rolleyes:. Just to Remind you of the size against 54mm, when I was repairing the Plum.
Bernard.
