I have the set number on the box, Egypt and Sudan Ref No. SS45. Would like to find out what unit are these.
The figures have a red dot under the base

Thanks in advance for any help.

The red circular badge with a light-colored (likely white) figure strongly resembles the St. Andrew cross motif associated with the Cameron Highlanders.

I later noticed the bases are gray. Not sand, not green. Gray base to be used on a ship, maybe?
These kinds of figures have never been used with any Trophy ships. Grey bases were usually used for North-West Frontier / Afghanistan figures, and sometimes with Sudan sets.

Boxer series also.
