Another World War II Victim ! (1 Viewer)

Ron,
So now you've got the WWII bug; come see me on Saturday at the Annandale show, I've got the cure for what ails you, six tables worth.......................

Warrior

I told you I was coming - I thought you were buying the coffee?? :D

Ron

Jazzeum
Are those Figarti Honey Tanks compatible with the K and C North Africa stuff

Damian,

They're a little smaller but noticeably. To be honest, I don't see much difference between the recent K & C Stuart and these. I just compared them and the K & C version is a very, very, very tiny bit bigger. I'm no tank expert so I don't know if they're supposed to be like that.

That is useful information. I have never seen their figures in the metal so I have to go on photos, but I was wondering about their Vietnam stuff. Will it go with my K and C Vietnam series

Damian,

Can't help you there as I don't collect Vietnam.

Ron,
I'l buy you all the coffee you can handle; you won't need it to keep you going, the excitement the show generates will do that for you. We will be light one less K & C dealer who usually attends but is off to the Atlanta show (now aint' that a shame...........)...........

This was the best decision you made thus far this year & maybe for the entire 2007 year. When are you getting married? Here is why I ask: You need to make sure you & your future spouse REGISTER for K&C-tell her it is a fine line of China or similar! Best of luck!

Capitolron to Wing Commander................. I have waited a long time to say that :D

Beaufighter

She is wise to the ways of the King and Country Empire - remember she bought me a huge Curio Cabinet for my Office - soon to be a WWII Showcase.

August is the date - Sir ! Now can I take her down to the deck and take out that 88mm ??

Capitolron Out. :D

ROGER THAT Capitolron:

AUGUST it is. We will expect proper reconnaissance photos of the event. ROGER THAT on the curio as I recall that now. Congrats. once again on the WW II purchase & the upcoming "UNION."

CHECK SIX,
Beaufighter

Thank you Wing Commander..............

By the way what do you have in your WWII collection?

Capitolron Out (I kinda like this :D )

WINGCO Beaufighter TO Flying Officer Capitolron:

My collection is primarily K&C covering the Battle of the Bulge during WW II. I also have a large aviation collection made up primarily of Corgi 1:32 aircraft with some older K&C pilots, etc. inclusive of the Figarti signed P-40, the K&C polystone Corsair & Me 109. I collect 1:30-1:35 scale aviation aircrew & pilots from just about any company that makes them so the collection is diverse in those regards. Back to the "Bulge". The collection is primarily K&C with every Winter related item I can get my hands on including any vehicle that was in Europe between October 1944-March 1945 or thereabouts. I also collect Honour Bound, The New Model Army & some Britains with a touch of some del Prado & some figures that Are still a mystery to me. I would ask you the same question but I know the response as it involves that "N" word! I must admit I absolutely love the history & the scale models making up my dioramas. My "museum" is my "wolf den"/"bear's lair" and or hangar of sanctuary for me. It also keeps me out of trouble! Happy hunting capitolron & best of luck with your growing collection especially the WW II items.

Beware of the Hun in the Sun,
Beaufighter

The deed is done :(

I have fallen into the WWII trap - I bought my first WWII Tank today - the Sherman 105 (DD45) - its offical, I am hooked.

The bad boy is displaying himself in my living room and looking great.

**** it - I didn't want to become poor this soon.

Oh well - another one bites the dust.

Ron :D
Hi Ron, This story has a familiar ring to it. I also recently relented and bought my first WWII vehicle after previously being exclusively Napoleonic. My first vehicle? The Sherman 105!

I guess there's no fighting it.

Adrian

We are in the same boat my friend. But, we must hold on to the OLD DAYS - LONG LIVE THE NAPOLEONIC PERIOD !!!

Whew - That felt better, now where is my "To Hell and Back" flyer....:D

Flying Officer Ron:

If you keep this us you will be a K&C WW II ACE in no time at all. The DD024 General Lee Tank was a sweet victory-job well done chap. Beware of the "Hun in the Sun" & add some German sets-DO IT!

Check Six,
Beaufighter

I thought Ron said no retired items. Ahh, he is indeed heading down a slippery slope. He better add some more clients :D

Gentlemen:

I know, I know.............But, even back in 2001 - when I was buying my Revolution and Napoleonic figures - I really like that Lee Tank. Always kinda kicked myself for not getting one then. So - what the **** I have the WWII fever - I thought - lets get him :D

I really am trying to stay away from the retired figures - but, the Sands of the Sahara are calling for US TROOPS to fight Rommel  - it all started with the Palm Trees I tell you............its those Palm Trees........is it hot in here?.....the WWII fever is getting to me........help!.......
