Antietam, September 17th, 1862.................... (1 Viewer)

Guess what George....this got my attention^&grin
Incredible lay-out and finite detail. I cannot begin to imagine how long that display took you to construct. However, what it does display is not only your diorama skills but also extensive knowledge of that bloody Sharpsburg (Antietam) battle. Kudos!

Thanks Bob, I'm glad you like it and can appreciate the amount of work that went into it; it actually was a lot of fun to plan and lay out. Very pleased with the end result, glad that you are too............

Nice to se your impressive diorama's again George, like the Iron Brigade figs who makes them SHQ?

Thanks for the comments, glad you like it; the Iron Brigade are mix of Kennington Miniatures which are owned by SHQ and the old Confederals range of figures......................

Thanks for the feedback Rob, glad you like it; nice to see you back on the forum, hope all is well with you on the other side of the pond, things are fine on this end thanks for asking....................

Do you ever take a show off, George, and game instead?

I'm with the others, I'm impressed by the sheer size of your display, and my hat is off to you for painting the figures you did paint, even if it's not all of them. I can appreciate the effort and skill. It's a really impressive display, museum quality. I hear ya about the space, though. It reminds me of my Waterloo battlefield, when I was a kid. I had a 4x8 sheet of plywood, and that was it.

Thanks for posting this, it is always a pleasure to see your dioramas!

Prost!
Brad

Thanks for the comments Brad, I appreciate it. This one was a long time coming and a great deal of fun to plan, set up and enjoy, I recently took it down as I am in the process of doing another one as the dog days of August are just around the corner............
