Any Muscle Car Fans Out There? (2 Viewers)

You had to watch out for your feet and legs with those side pipes, as they used to glow in the dark! HOT! HOT! HOT!

Nice thing to look at - but totally impractical - that's why I just loved her - for a while. jb

This was a chick magnet back in the 70's

I grew up in the 1950's-1960's and always loved the late 60's muscle cars. I bought a brand new SS396/375HP Chevelle in 1969 for the princely sum of $3630 back then.{eek3}. And no, I no longer have it.{sm2}

However tomorrow at noon I am picking up a Shelby GT 500 with 550HP and this one I intend to keep!:tongue:

I needed something to drive until my Camaro comes in.........the wife is just a little
Hot!{eek3}

A wife thats a bit hot is always a plus,,,My 70 Mustang is soon on its way to my daughter,,,I just put new Holly 700 cfm plus 4bbl on my 55 Thunderbird,,4 spd,upgraded and driven.In my albums

Certainly some nice cars out there. Speaking about hot pipes my Harley V-Rod takes the cake in that department. A couple of years ago I rode it to my local movie theatre one afternoon, I decided to back it into a parking space. It has no reverse so you have to use your legs to back it into the spot. This caused my right leg to come into direct contact with the exhaust pipe. I didn't realize it because of the force being used to move the 600 lb bike backwards.

It wasn't until I took my seat in the theatre and smelled "Chicken" burning that I realized how badly I had burned my calf!{eek3}

To this day I don't remember the movie, and yes I have burned the same calf on that pipe again.......only now it doesn't hurt anymore!:tongue:
