Was just wondering if anyone else is hoping for another release from this excellant range?.I know FJ's in Normandy would be universally popular(with myself included)but i'd also love to see more of the Crete FJ's.The figures/uniforms are so cool and with only one wave of releases so far there must be many more poses that are possible.Heres hoping guys.:)

FJ's are great Rob.

i am hoping for the normandy or monte cassino FJ's though. :)

I think that the next Germans set will be for the Arhem Market Garden. This is just speculation from me nobody told me nothing about that, I just have that feeling for the Chicago show....:D

I would love to see Normandy FJ's. I passed on the previous FJs because I didn't think that they were all that impressive and I had other stuff I needed to p/u 1st.

Imagine this set 4 piece set (entirely my imagination)

2 FJ's - one with panzerschreck, the other with a panzerfaust, hiding beneath the normandy hegdegrows waiting to ambush the enemy armour.

1 FJ Hauptmann (captain) signalling to

1 FJ sniper preparing to fire.

:D:D:D

:D Yes; Bring on the ('Desert Paras'), Ramcke's Brigade! N. Africa; with a MARDER II/III. and a WESPE!

How about some FJ's like the follows in the attack on the Netherlands, German paratroopers played a major role isolating the city of The Hague and in Belgium, they seized vital bridges and took a strategic fort at Eben Emael. Their gliders landing on top of the fort.

Hi Michael, my huge regards of the FJ's had always been as valiant defenders, rather than daredevil assault troops, though history recorded that they excelled at both.

Some time ago, i read a lot of Time/Life excellent book sets (26 books?) History of the Third Reich and the FJ's feat at cassino really impressed me.

1 most outstanding feat for me, if remembered correctly, reading about was that a group of around 37 FJ's with several cooks were impromptu forced to defend a bridge against an allied infantry thrust.

They defended it so fanatically that the Allies thought they were facing a large number of enemy.

after around 5 hours, when the bridge was finally taken, the Allies knew the truth, and were so impressed by the feat that they shook the hand of the FJ survivors.

The FJs too fought a slow brilliant withdrawal in Italy, slowing the Allied advance that the Italian Front stabilized, and the some Allies dubbed the FJ commander, Albert Kesselring - the "wonder weapon".

Any Italian theater of operation releases would be great but FJ's would really be sharp:cool:. Any specualtion if new series/line means a whole different time era or perhaps just a theater of a particuler war no one has done yet? I'd love to see some 36 Inf Div Americans from the Italian campaign, but then again I'm somewhat biased:D:).

If it's later era FJs, then a sprinkling of FG42's amongst them would go down nicely.

some reference pics..:)

It's funny you mention this because I was going to say the same thing. Here is a perfect opportunity to dsiplay a truly rare weapon.

Late FJs would also be very useful for the Battle of the Bulge. Image some tank riders on Kurt Sowa's 222 King Tiger

At the London show in June i purchased the first five sets of the FJ's and they really are superb. Can't decide which is best as they are all so good.I like the MG/Mortar duo's a lot and the guy with the drop canister is fantastic. My next purchase will be the guy with the British prisoner and then the anti Tank gun.

I'd love to see more of the Crete FJ's too - before we start going to North Africa etc (which I'd also like :))

I'd like to see an FJ demolitions team as seen in action at Eben Emael.

As that was very early war would that be much different uniforms to what they wore in Crete?
