Hi guys,

I will be recieving my German Stug (VEH 001) on Monday!!!!! hard choice to pick one over the other, but I really liked the recognition flag and the tool box and some of the smaller detail on VEH 001 over the VEH 002, don't know if I will be able to get Veh 002, I gotta get the recon vehicle next before it's to late, any favorites out there as far as the Stugs go??...Sammy

Sammy...I'm wondering how your feeling after selling off the K&C items and switching over too FL...do you feel it was a good choice still?

Hi Markey,

For me it was a very good choice in me downsizing my K&C collection, controling my finances at a much easier pace, and in my opionion I upgraded to a higher quality of WWII figures, I certainly have started back at square one with my collection, but I haven't missed anything yet, no retirements as such, I do wish First Legion would open a Western Front on WWII that's about my only " concearn" but I do know and have been told good things come to those who wait, so maybe in a year or two some D-Day or Battle of Bulge will emerge, but for now it's Stalingrad!!! and I'm very happy with it, if you get a chance to purchase some you will not be disappointed, take care...Sammy

I would like to get both Stugs Wayne, but gotta spread the funds around as much as possible, hopefully after I pick up the recon vehicle the VEH002 will still be available, but I really want to pick up some of the new Russian defenders as well, how about you?? anything new on the horizon??...Sammy

hi sammy, i have Veh001 Erika and i'm really happy with it.

the only thing i can pick faults with Erika (and i'm being really really picky here) is that the hatches cannot be closed.

but considering this is the first ever First Legion vehicle, i regard it as a breakthru in this scale, and undisputed beauty.

and i'm pretty sure there will be other variant stugs as First Legion slowly advance to Germany's defeat

i also bought Veh003, and this is, in my opinion, even better that the Stugs!

my gripe (there has to one rite? nothing is perfect) is that i wished FL had informed us they will release the DAK version, as i love the DAK. its the thing that's playing in my mind, and i'm half considering to sell it to acquire the DAK one.

hopefully the Panzer III will come out soon, its due!

Sammy, I have them both...With the tank riders on the (VEH 002)....they are both Fantastic Stugs....If you purchase the 002...the tank riders are a must have....It makes the 002 set up "very realistic"....Either way you will really like the First Legion Stugs: Enjoy

Hi Vezzolf,

I really would like to purchase the Veh 002, I think the treads on the Stug are awesome looking, hope I can pick it up before it's retired, but then again I do not want to miss out on the Recon vehicle either, so ...my budget is set for one vehicle a month and I'm hoping which ever I buy in June the other will still be available in July, we'll see.

how are your First Legion collection displayed?? are you doing a diorama or a separate display case type thing??...Sammy

Hi Sammy, I am setting up FL Stalingrad as a diorama with build-o-rama building ruins....as an aside I am also using Figarti's Winter Tiger in this display; even though it's a bit out of scale 1:32 it seems to "look" good with First Legion figures......Can't wait for the FL Panzer III to arrive....I think that will be an excellent addition to this line.

I have VEH002 Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. F with Ostketten and I'm very happy with it . It is very impressive to think that this is the first effort from First Legion . As with all my experience with First Legion so far I'm quite certain it will only get better with each subsequent release . Like many others I'm looking forward to seeing the arrival of the Panzer III . I would be very surprised if you weren't very Happy with your purchase . Enjoy Gebhard
