Any Toy Soldier Shops in Seattle? (1 Viewer)

Well Gents, I am outta here today! It has been a very nice visit and also an eye opener. Yesterday I got the stomach flu and chilled at my brother in laws house while the gang went to Stevens Pass. Nice place to visit and may come back sometime, but in the summer because it is freaking cold here.

Get ready for some chilly temps in SA. It was 34 at noon today.

Have a safe trip back to your "warm" Texas John. JFYI here the difference between Summer and the rest of the year is that in Summer the rain is warm :wink2:

Fellas,

Back home in San Antonio...sent the wife to go get Fajitas! Holy Smokes the Firework lines are out to the street! It is going to be a doozy tonight! By the way, since the weather was clear over Seattle when we left we got to see ALL the mountains. Mt. Renier and Mt. St. Helens were absolutely stunning! My son got some pics and I will post them shortly. Unbelievable view! Alaska Airlines was smooth and efficient. The return trip was PACKED and my butt hurts from the hard *** seats. It took 4 hrs from SAT to SEATAC when we left and 3 1/2 from SEATAC to SAT when we came back AND there was a crying baby each way.

Meet two Mexicanas while I was there and that was it for Hispanic folks. They were the cleaning ladies at the hotel and gave them a $20 tip each when we left. They were shocked that I even acknowledged them.

Sat next to a Navy Corpsman in training coming back to SA after some leave. Nice kid on the cusp of his career...I remember those days. Was I that young when I joined?
